TV Land is staying Younger. The cable network renewed the comedy Wednesday, a week before its Season 2 premiere. The renewal announcement came during the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour, where the series’ full cast gathered on stage together to talk about the show’s second season.
Younger stars Sutton Foster as Liza Miller, a 40-something divorced woman who pretends to be a 26 year old in order to secure a job at one of New York City’s top publishing houses. Other cast members include Hilary Duff as Kelsey Peters, Debi Mazar as Maggie, Miriam Shor as Diana Trout, and Nico Tortorella as Josh.
Per TV Land, Younger‘s first season left everyone wondering what’s next for Liza. Even if boyfriend Josh can handle the truth, can he handle being in on the secret? With the stakes getting higher as work BFF Kelsey climbs the corporate ladder, can Liza ever come clean to her? And how long can Liza and her boss Charles ignore the obvious chemistry between them?
Younger kicks off its second season with a one-hour premiere next Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 10 p.m. on TV Land.
