Stan Lee Visits the Comic Book Men In Season 5 Part Two Premiere

When Comic Book Men returns for part two of its fifth season next month, comic book legend Stan Lee will pay a visit to Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash. The man behind Spider-Man, The Hulk, Iron Man, and so many more heroes, hangs with the crew as they reminisce about the death of Gwen Stacy and what might’ve been had she survived the Spider-Man franchise. The 93-year-old Manhattan native reveals that Gerry Conway killed off Gwen when he was out of the country on a business trip. “I hate him,” Lee says of Conway. “While I was in Europe, he killed Gwen Stacy! I didn’t want to kill her.”

Comic Book Men returns Feb. 14 at midnight ET on AMC.
