Little is known about the upcoming Jurassic World sequel, but we do know that stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will reprise their roles as Owen and Claire. Speaking with E!, Howard was anxious to reveal too much more but did offer a nice tease about what to expect from her character in the follow-up:
“Claire is a different person now. The person she is at the end of the movie is not the person she was in the beginning. Her armor of sorts was that white, pristine outfit with heels in a very corporate environment and stuff, and the chick at the end… totally different. So yeah… it better not be heels.”

Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly will once again pen the script for the Jurassic World sequel, though Trevorrow will not return to direct, opting to journey to a galaxy far, far away with Star Wars: Episode IX. He previously revealed the quote from the original Jurassic Park that inspired their idea for the sequel, which comes from Sam Neil’s Alan Grant: “Dinosaurs and man, separated by 65 million years of evolution have been thrown back into the mix together. How can we know what to expect?”
It was previously reported that The Orphanage and The Impossible director Juan Antonio Bayona was in contention to direct the film, but was previously unable to due to commitments to World War Z 2. The director has since left that project, meaning he could helm the dinosaur blockbuster after all. Check back here as we learn more.
Frank Marshall and Steven Spielberg will produce the film again which is set for release on June 22, 2018.
