While the first trailer for Daredevil Season 2 was all about Frank Castle and how The Punisher and Daredevil would be at odds throughout the upcoming season, the latest trailer for the Netflix superhero drama turns its attention over to Matt Murdock’s old flame, Elektra Natchios (Elodie Yung). And unlike The Punisher, who challenges Matt and his methods of protecting Hell’s Kitchen, Elektra will be teaming up with her ex to save the city from a threat that he thought was gone: the Yakuza.
In the latest Daredevil Season 2 trailer, Matt and Elektra fight (and flirt) together while taking down members of the Yakuza. However, just because Matt now has a new ally doesn’t mean that Foggy will ever stop worrying about him.
“Every time I walk up those stairs, I wonder if today’s the day you’re dead in your living room,” he tells Matt. Plus, we also get more of Claire, Karen, and, of course, The Punisher. Not to mention, there’s the return of Stick, who warns Matt about a new threat that he will soon have to face: The Hand.
Daredevil Season 2 debuts on Netflix on Friday, March 18. Check out the new, Elektra-centric trailer below:
