After a month of exclusivity the Xbox One Black Ops 3 DLC release date arrives on March 3rd, but you can start downloading the new maps today, and you can now buy the Awakening DLC for $14.99 without buying the Season Pass.
You can also buy the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Season Pass for $49.99 if you want all the map packs. This guide will also allow you to start the Awakening Xbox One Black Ops 3 DLC download if you bought the season pass already.
Here’s what you need to do to download the Awakening Xbox One Black Ops 3 DLC early.
The Guide
he first thing you need to do is go to your Xbox One Dashboard. Here you should see an Ad for the Awakening Black Ops 3 DLC on the right side. If you don’t see this hold the left and right trigger, then press Y to refresh the dashboard. Once you see the ad, select it and you will end up on a screen prompting you to buy the Awakening Xbox One Black Ops 3 DLC, and to buy the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Season Pass.
Even if you already bought the Xbox One Black Ops 3 Season Pass you should choose the Buy Now option.
This will take you to the Xbox Store, where you will see the option to buy the Awakening Black Ops 3 DLC 1 now. If you already redeemed your Season Pass this will show an option to install the Awakening Black Ops 3 maps early on Xbox One.
Choose to install, wait for the small 10MB file to download and then you can go into the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 game on Xbox One and the maps are available.
