Anthony Stewart Head (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) has been cast opposite daughter Daisy Head (The Syndicate) on Freeform’s forthcoming soap Guilt.
The murder mystery finds Grace Atwood (Head), a young American women, accused of viciously murdering her BFF while in London. The Buffy vet will assume the recurring role of James Lahue, Grace’s charming stepfather who just so happens to have ties to the victim.
Vinyl‘s Emily Tremaine also co-stars as Grace’s sister Natalie who teams up with lawyer Stan Gutterie (Titanic‘s Billy Zane) to scour all levels of London society — from deviant sex clubs to the Royal family — in search of the truth. As the investigation intensifies, Natalie begins to wonder whether Stan might be keeping secrets to protect her stepfather, whose business practices have never quite been above board.
Cristian Solimeno (Rush), Naomi Ryan (Guardians of the Galaxy), Kevin Ryan (Copper), Zachary Fall (Crossing Lines), Simona Brown (The Casual Vacancy) and newcomer Sam Cassidy round out the cast.
Stewart Head’s other TV credits include Dominion and Merlin.
