Publisher Mediascape announced today that Touhou Soujinengi V: The Genius of Sappheiros is releasing for PlayStation Vita in Japan on April 28, 2016 and will be available for 3,000 yen via the Japanese PlayStation Store. Touhou Soujinengi: The Genius of Sappheiros is a Touhou fan Project by Strawberry Bose. It’s an orthodox RPG that has the flow from the older era.
The game takes place in Gensokyo, where you’ll need to form a party and travel to various lands to solve mysteries and take on giant enemies to resolve an unusual occurrence that’s been going on. In addition to leveling up, you’ll find the key to success through getting a grasp of enemy weaknesses and movements, and selecting the right ally skills as part of the highly strategic game balance.
The game originally launched for PC in 2010, and the PlayStation Vita version features wide screen support, game balance readjustments, new allies, and extra end-game content after clearing.
