ABC’s The Catch has cast Doctor Who and Life on Mars alum John Simm as the mysterious benefactor who has been backing Ben and Margot’s schemes.
Per Variety, Simm will make his debut in Episode 6 of the midseason #TGIT drama (airing in late April), and appear throughout the back half of its 10-episode freshman run.
In addition to his recurring stint as Doctor Who‘s The Master and as the original Life on Mars‘ “time traveler,” Simm’s TV credits include Intruders, State of Play, Sky1’s Mad Dogs and The Village.
The Catch continues its run this Thursday at 10/9c, with Episode 3.
