Microsoft have announced two new games for the Xbox One Backward Compatibility program, bringing the total added this week to five.
Larry Hryb announced on Twitter today that both Doom 3: BFG Edition and Monaco: What’s Yours Is Mine are now playable on the company’s next-gen console.
The BFG Edition of Doom 3 is the fully upgraded version of the game released for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in 2012.
It’s joined on the official Backward Compatible list by stealth heist game, Monaco, which includes support for four player co-op.
Fans continue to ask for an update on when Call of Duty: Black Ops will be released for the BC program, the game remains a very popular title and is one of the only COD titles currently confirmed for the Xbox 360 collection.
Reports have linked Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2 to a launch via Backward Compatibility but that wouldn’t be until the release of Infinity Ward’s new Call of Duty title in November – if it proves true.
Other recent titles added to the program this week includes Garou: Mark of the Wolves, Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project, and Sonic the Fighters.
