CBS’ Person of Interest opened its fifth and final season on Tuesday night with 7.4 million total viewers and a 1.2 rating, up in the demo from both its Season 4 finale (8.2 mil/1.1) and Limitless‘ week-ago freshman finale (5.6 mil/1.1), and off just a tenth from Limitless‘ Season 1 average (7.1 mil/1.3).
That said, POI was down 30 and 33 percent from its previous premiere and off 22 and 20 percent from its Season 4 average.
Opening the Eye’s night, NCIS (14.6 mil/1.9) was steady with FLOTUS’ drop-by, while New Orleans (12.4 mil/1.8) hit three-week highs.
