This morning Nintendo confirmed plans to localize the second Yo-kai Watch game for Nintendo 3DS. Yo-kai Watch 2 is coming to the U.S. in two versions—Yo-kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits and Yo-kai Watch 2: Fleshy Souls, each with their own rare Yo-kai to collect—on September 30.
The series’ second numbered entry features more of the same RPG gameplay, with new areas to explore outside of Springdale, over 100 new Yo-kai, an improved in-game Yo-kai Watch, and time-traveling mechanics.
Naturally, Hasbro has a bunch more Yo-kai Watch merch coming out this fall, including a new Watch model, plush toys, figures, and a trading card game. Those who have been following the anime can look forward to Disney XD’s premiere of the second season this summer.
