The Nintendo of America Twitter account shared some interesting information about Super Mario Maker recently. Since the game was released in September of last year, it has sold more than 3.5 million copies worldwide. To date, more than 7.2 million courses have been created by players all across the globe, but there’s no indication if that number includes those that Nintendo has deleted.
Back in February of this year user-created courses crossed 6 million total, so it took a little over two months for another million to be added to that number.
Another interesting tidbit included by Nintendo in the tweet says, “If you played every level in [the game] for 1 minute each, it would take you nearly 14 years to play them all!”
