Google has rolled out a program that allows people to test beta versions of Google Maps.
The betas will be published via the Google Play Store, similar to how Google distributes other a few other beta apps. Google warns that beta builds of Google Maps may be buggy or unstable. But it is a new way to get use Maps features before most others.
Google would like beta testers to provide feedback about new features and any bugs they may discover when using the beta(s).
