After many delays, No Man’s Sky has finally gone gold, and just in the nick of time. The space-exploration game that’s captured the imaginations of gamers for several years now will actually be playable.

Many gamers had been grumbling about the game’s delays, and questioning whether we had another game that promised too much to deliver. Would No Man’s Sky become lost in development hell, destined to face setback after setback? Could the tiny Hello Games team really pull off such an ambitious title
We don’t know the answer to that last question just yet, though we can’t wait to get our hands on the game to find out. But one thing is certain: No Man’s Sky has gone to print, and whether it’s good, bad, amazing or dreadful, we’ll be playing it soon.
The game lands on PS4 and PC on August 9th.
