CI Games has announced that its newest retail title, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, will be released on the Wii U alongside the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The title will launch on January 27, 2017.
For those that do not know, the Sniper Ghost Warrior franchise has centered on sniper kill-based gameplay. Ghost Warrior 3 drops the player off in an open world in northern Georgia, near the Russian border. The game will be shown off at Gamescom early in August.
This is not the first Ghost Warrior title to make it to Wii U. The game’s predecessor, Sniper Ghost Warrior 2, also launched for the platform.
