We here at ToT have seen a ton of strange collector’s editions in thepast, but this new Battlefield 1 special edition has to be one of the oddest ones yet! It costs $130 ($104 with Amazon Prime), it’s exclusive to Amazon… and it doesn’t come with the game.
You read that right. Amazon now lists a Battlefield 1 Exclusive Collector’s Edition that only includes a bunch of real-world and in-game items, and not the full game itself. Of course, Amazon is also selling this edition with the game for $190 ($152 with Prime).
Here is a picture of all goodies the edition includes below.
The Amazon Exclusive Collector’s Edition includes a 14-inch statue, a steel book case, a cloth poster, a deck of cards, a messenger pigeon tube that holds codes for DLC content, and a patch.
If you want to get even more content with your Battlefield 1 purchase, you can pick up the Deluxe version of the Exclusive Collector’s Edition for $220 ($176 with Prime). This includes a couple DLC packs containing themed weapons and vehicles, as well as five Battlepacks.
Battlefield 1 launches on October 21 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, but you can play it on the 18th if you are an EA or Origin Access subscriber.
