Blizzard has announced that the first season of Overwatch‘s Competitive Play will come to an end on Wednesday, August 17, at 5pm PT (August 18, 12am UTC).
Those who have completed placement matches during the inaugural season will be eligible to receive a special spray and player icon, which will be unlocked automatically when you log in following the season’s end. If you landed a spot in the Top 500 players on your platform of choice and region, you’ll get an extra player icon and animated spray on top of other awards.
Alongside the above, you’ll also receive Competitive Points based on maximum Skill Rating achieved during the season. The Skill Rating and Competitive Points breakdown is as follows:
- SR 0-39: 10 CPs
- SR 40-45: 20 CPs
- SR 46-49: 40 CPs
- SR 50-52: 60 CPs
- SR 53-55: 80 CPs
- SR 56-59: 120 CPs
- SR 60-64: 200 CPs
- SR 65+: 300 CPs
