Dead Rising publisher Capcom is marking the series’ 10th anniversary by bringing the franchise’s three last-generation entries to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Sept. 13, the company announced today.
The three new ports will include all of the respective games’ add-on costumes, and will offer “updated graphics” in 1080p at 60 frames per second, according to Capcom. The original Dead Rising will be available on PC via Steam, as well as on PS4 and Xbox One. Dead Rising 2 and Off the Record are coming only to the consoles.
Each of the three games will be sold separately for $19.99 in the U.S., £15.99 in the U.K. and €19.99 in Europe. Capcom will also offer a bundle of all three on PS4 and Xbox One — the Dead Rising Triple Pack — for $59.49. The Sept. 13 date applies to the digital releases of all three ports; in North America, Capcom will release retail disc versions of the PS4 and Xbox One ports for Dead Rising on Sept. 13 and Dead Rising 2 on Sept. 27.
Capcom confirmed back in July that Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record — a remake of Dead Rising 2 with Frank West instead of Chuck Greene — were on their way to current-gen consoles. The announcement followed leaked trophies that suggested Dead Rising was coming to PS4. Dead Rising 3, which Microsoft Studios published, will remain available only on Windows PC and Xbox One.
If that’s not enough Dead Rising for you, Dead Rising 4 is set to be released Dec. 6 on PC and Xbox One.
