To capitalize on gamers who like their games’ musical scores as much as they like the games themselves, Spotify has officially launched a new portal dedicated to just that: video game music. To find it, all you have to do is load up the app, find the “Genres & Moods” section for new music you want to discover, and tap or click on the Gaming category. Or, if you’re feeling lazy, you could just hit up the new website Spotify has made for its gaming collection: www.spotify-gaming.com.

In there, you’ll find links to full streaming soundtracks as well as plenty of playlists from various gaming superstars and other web journalists. Spotify also has its own curated playlists section, which includes playlists themed for electronic gaming, epic gaming, pop gaming, and retro gaming. Tracks on these playlists aren’t video game music per se, but music you’ll want to check them out when you’re playing those kinds of games (presumably). Better turn down your in-game music.

Some of the soundtracks available to stream include tunes from the brand-new No Man’s Sky, as well as plenty of Halo games, Mass Effect 2 and 3 (sorry, original game), Max Payne 3, Command & Conquer: Red Alert (you know the song), Gears of War, FTL: Faster Than Light, and the aforementioned Red Dead Redemption. Missing are some heavyweights like all of the Final Fantasy games, anything with the word “Mario” or “Zelda” in the title, and anything from the Bioshock franchise—to name a few.

Here’s hoping the company can acquire the rights to even more gaming tunes going forward.
