Did you play Zelda: Twilight Princess HD and think ‘Boy, I wish there was another modern Zelda game on the Wii U right now while I wait for Breath of the Wild’? In that case, you’re in luck, because Nintendo has released Zelda: Skyward Sword on the Wii U Virtual Console shop.
Skyward Sword has an art style that’s similar to the upcoming Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Nintendo says that Skyward Sword is actually the first game in the Zelda series, chronologically speaking.
The game is available now available on the Wii U Virtual Console shop, and keep in mind that it’s a straight port from the Wii version — no updated graphics or features, and it uses the same Wiimote motion controls.
