If you haven’t yet had a chance to check out Blizzard’s excellent new FPS franchise, Overwatch, this is your lucky weekend. The game will be free to play this weekend only, giving Xbox One gamers a chance to check it out from through September 12.
Things kick off at 11 a.m. PT (2 p.m. ET) today, September 9, and all you need to play on Xbox One is an active Xbox Live Gold. As for what you’ll get to try, it looks like you’ll have access to everything that owners of the game have access to. According to the Overwatch blog, that includes the full slate of heroes, all maps, the weekly brawl and much more. You’ll also be able to level up and earn loot boxes, and all of your progress will be saved should you decide to buy the game afterwards.
