Director Duncan Jones has taken to Twitter to reveal a piece of concept art for his next film, the sci-fi thriller Mute, and revealed that production begins next week. In addition, Jones confirmed that the film is “related” to his 2009 debut film Moon.

Paul Rudd (Captain America: Civil War, Wet Hot American Summer), Alexander Skarsgard (“True Blood,” Tarzan), and Sam Rockwell are are set to star in the film. Jones’ will also reunite with composer Clint Mansell to score Mute.

Mute is based on a script by Jones and Mike Johnson and is set in Berlin, forty years from today. There, a roiling city of immigrants, where East crashes against West in a science-fiction Casablanca. Leo Beiler (Skarsgard), a mute bartender has one reason and one reason only for living here, and she’s disappeared. But when Leo’s search takes him deeper into the city’s underbelly, an odd pair of American surgeons (led by Rudd) seem to be the only recurring clue, and Leo can’t tell if they can help, or who he should fear most.

The director is also known for his sci-fi thriller Source Code, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, about a solider who wakes up in someone else’s body and finds out he has a mission to complete in only eight minutes. While Warcraft was heavily criticized by critics, the action film was a box office hit overseas and has made over $433 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing video game adaptation of all time.
