GungHo Online Entertainment has released Battle Puzzle & Dragons X, a free-to-play version of its 3DS RPGs Puzzle & Dragons X: Kami no Shou and Puzzle & Dragons X: Ryuu no Shou, for 3DS via the Nintendo eShop in Japan.
In Battle Puzzle & Dragons X, various types of play data including the monsters and items you obtain can be transferred into Puzzle & Dragons X: Kami no Shou and Puzzle & Dragons X: Ryuu no Shou. If you’re considering getting into Puzzle & Dragons X, you can start by enjoying “exhilarating puzzle battles” through Battle Puzzle & Dragons X.
Battle Puzzle & Dragons features a “Battle Mode” identical to Puzzle & Dragons X: Kami no Shou and Puzzle & Dragons X: Ryuu no Shou. In it, you can enjoy “Fixed Battles” to immediately get playing or “Free Battles” where can freely form your team. You can also battle against players who own the main games.
Additionally, you can practice puzzle battles through “Challenge Survival” mode, which features three difficulty options. Attaining victory will get you monsters and evolution materials, which will help strengthen your monsters. There are also a variety of other elements available.
