“Lip Sync Battle” is back with brand new talent and tunes. The reality competition show released a promo for the upcoming third season, paying homage to Michael Jackson and his song “Beat It.” The clip features host LL Cool J and series commentator Chrissy Teigen reenacting Jackson’s iconic music video, while facing off with the “Lip Sync Battle” dancers.
The promo also features a sneak peek of the Season 3 competitors, including Lupita Nyong’o, Laverne Cox and Sir Ben Kingsley. Nyong’o posted a photo on Instagram last week wearing a robe with the series’ emblem printed on the back. She also tagged Regina Hall.
This season looks to also include appearances from Don Cheadle, Wanda Sykes, Uzo Aduba, Craig Ferguson, T.J. Miller, DeAndre Jordan, Jay Leno, Jeff Dye, Milla Jovovich, Ruby Rose, John Cho, Rob Riggle, America Ferrera, Sarah Hyland, Regina Hall, and Samira Wiley.
“Lip Sync Battle” Season 3 premieres on Spike Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 9 p.m.
