Konami has detailed the next two PES 2017 updates, which will be available for free over the next two months. The first arrives at the end of October and will add improved facial likeness for players.
“The October file will recognize over 39 players who have excelled in the early part of the season, and will offer photo-realistic reproductions of the likes of Wissam Ben Yedder, Mario Lemina, Aymeric Laporte, Victor Wanyama, and Denis Suarez, and will also see their individual playing styles recreated within the game,” Konami said in a press release.
The update will also introduce pitch-side hoardings and new officially licensed boot styles, “including the option of choosing a variety of studs.”
The second update, which arrives in late November, is catered for Sony’s PlayStation 4 Pro and introduces a 4K resolution mode. The PS4 Pro launches on November 10, 2016 and will cost $399/£349/A$560.
Along with this, there will be “the introduction of key elements centred on Konami’s premier partnership teams: Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund.” This includes adding Liverpool’s Anfield stadium to the game, complete with chants and ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ playing as players walk onto the pitch. Dortmund’s Iduna Park will also be added via the update.
