Despite not appearing in the last two episodes of AMC‘s hit series The Walking Dead, actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan has revealed to Howard Stern that the series’ current uber-bad guy Negan and his Saviors will indeed appear in the next two episodes of Season 7 and will in fact live on to terrorize folks in the second half of Season 7 and on into Season 8!
“I know I will be on board for Season 8,” Morgan said. “We’ve finished [Season 7] a week ago. The next two, I’m really big in. I’m f**king heavy in those.”
The penultimate episode before the winter break, titled “Sing Me a Song,” airs next Sunday, December 4 on AMC.
The Walking Dead stars Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes), Christian Serratos (Rosita), Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon), Danai Gurira (Michonne), Lauren Cohan (Maggie), Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha), Ross Marquand (Aaron), Chandler Riggs (Carl), Josh McDermitt (Eugene), Tom Payne (Jesus), Khary Payton (Ezekiel) and Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan. Scott M. Gimple serves as showrunner and executive producer along with series creator Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Dave Alpert, and Greg Nicotero.
He will be deeply involved in TWD for the foreseeable future … if there’s anything that pulls this show out of its current slump, it will be that.
