NBC San Diego and eVoter have announced a partnership that connects San Diego voters with polling place locations, election information, candidate profiles and endorsements prior to Election Day.
eVoter is a non-partisan website that allows voters to access information to make informed decisions on Election Day via an interactive sample ballot. eVoter also allows voters to locate their polling place, generate and print a customized ballot, access absentee ballot applications and look up organizational endorsements. Candidates can purchase an online profile on eVoter to reach voters and organizations can publicize their endorsements at a low cost.
NBC San Diego has launched an online web tool that directs voters to their personalized ballot information powered by eVoter as part of their online election coverage. To check it out, go to www.nbcsandiego.com and search “voter guide”.
“We’re pleased to announce this partnership with one of San Diego’s local news leaders,” said Adam Kravitz, CEO of Political Technologies LLC, owner of eVoter. “This allows us to effectively reach voters in the San Diego area for the June 8th Primaries.”
“Our goal is to provide comprehensive and useful election information for voters in our area,” said Greg Dawson, VP News, NBC San Diego. “eVoter provides that coverage by listing all the candidates, propositions and polling places in an easy to access format across the San Diego area and the rest of the state.”
