Psychonauts developer Double Fine today announced a new preorder bonus for the upcoming PlayStation VR game, Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin. Everyone who preorders the game gets the original Psychonauts for free, the developer announced .
The PS2-on-PS4 game normally goes for $10 and will unlock right after you preorder Rhombus of Ruin. That game is priced at $20, though PlayStation Plus members can get it for $18.
Rhombus of Ruin comes out on February 21. A standalone chapter in the Psychonauts series, the game’s story bridges the gap between the original and the upcoming sequel. You play as Raz and, through PlayStation VR, can see the world from a first-person perspective. A launch trailer was released today and can be seen below.
Psychonauts 2 is due out in 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Earlier this week, Double Fine announced that Payday company Starbreeze will publish the game and a new gameplay trailer was released.
