AMD will be hosting an event to introduce the next phase of VISION Technology, as well as refresh its notebook platforms on Wednesday. Launched in October 2009, VISION was introduced to simplify the buying process for consumers and has experienced great momentum in the first seven months.
The hosts of the event will be Rick Bergman, senior vice president and general manager, Products Group and Leslie Sobon, vice president, Worldwide Product Marketing.
The rumor is AMD will be showing off more power efficient processors which are expected to be included in over 100 laptop models in the following months. Those new laptops will be from Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo and others.
