The upcoming Avengers: Infinity War and its untitled sequel are filming in New York City this May, according to MovieCastingCall.org. They’re currently hiring extras for the job, though they have to have legal eligibility to work in the entertainment industry in New York. The movies are filming under the working title of “Mary Lou.” There are extra roles available as well as some speaking roles. Central Casting is now accepting submissions for the Marvel feature film “Infinity War” in New York. To be considered, all actors and extras must be legally eligible to work in the entertainment industry in the New York and in the United States. That informationis published in the 2017 New York Actors Resource Guide eBook. The film’s directors, Anthony and Joe Russo, will be personally hand-picking the talent from the photos submitted. The following are the current casting needs:
• MALES & FEMALES – Any ethnicity, who appear 18 – 50’s, all types. Especially needed are people with New York looks, and also people with good character faces. Filming is tentatively scheduled for May 19, 2017. A wardrobe fitting could possibly be required in the beginning of May. You must have an open and flexible schedule, as the dates are very tentative at the moment. If you have previously worked on this film in any area, your are NOT eligible to be considered for these new roles. This is for NEW TALENT only, who have not worked on the film.
It has also been reported that the Scottish city of Edinburgh will play a large role in the upcoming Marvel film. According to the Daily Record, Edinburgh will take center stage in the film, though we don’t know the details yet. Director Joe Russo told the site, “When Edinburgh came up as a location option we jumped at the chance. The city is such a unique and iconic location, but one never seen as the backdrop for a big action film, which is incredibly exciting.”
Avengers: Infinity War will star Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Benedict Cumberbatch, Pom Klementieff, Peter Dinklage, Tom Holland, and many more The film will hit theaters on May 4, 2018. The untitled sequel will premiere on May 3, 2019.
