Atlus has confirmed two new RPG adventures for the 3DS handheld.
Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 and Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey are both fresh installments in two of the company’s most popular franchises, proving that there’s still money to be made in supporting older hardware – especially when it has a huge install base, like the 3DS.
Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 arrives on August 31st in Japan and will cost 6,480 yen. First-print copies will ship with a two-disc album filled with songs from across the Etrian Odyssey series, picked by fans themselves. A 10th Anniversary Box limited edition version will also be available at 9,800 yen – this ships in a special box and comes with a 200-page “Character Art Works” book.
