Lifetime has announced the Married at First Sight’ fifth season and spinoff Married at First Sight: Second Chances will be returning to the network.
Married at First Sight follows two single people who agree to legally marry a complete stranger. The show’s spinoff, Second Chances, will follow “season three viewer favorites, David Norton and Vanessa Nelson, as they get another shot at finding life-long love.”
Season five of Married at First Sight premieres on April 20th and Married at First Sight: Second Chances debuts on April 27th.
Married at First Sight and Married at First Sight: Second Chances are produced for Lifetime by Kinetic Content. Executive producers for Married at First Sight are Chris Coelen and Sam Dean from Kinetic Content and Gena McCarthy for Lifetime. For Married at First Sight: Second Chances, Chris Coelen and Brenda Coston are executive producers from Kinetic Content and Gena McCarthy and Shura Davison serve as executive producers for Lifetime.
Married at First Sight season five will include 17 episodes. Married at First Sight: Second Chances will include 12 episodes.
