Philips has been awarded the Red Dot Award for Product Design in 2017 for the Philips 349X7FJEW. The Red Dot Award, which every year attracts more than 5,000 submissions from over 50 nations, is one of the largest and most prestigious design competitions in the world.
“As the world becomes increasingly connected, people are sharing their living and working spaces with more and more tech products. And they expect these products not just to perform brilliantly, but also to have a design that merges with the interior and perfectly suits how they live and work. We are therefore delighted that our display, which we created to fulfill this expectation, has been recognized by the Red Dot jury,” says Chris Brown, Manager Global Product Marketing Philips Monitors.
The display features a curved screen, which creates a subtle immersion effect by curving around the user’s line of vision. The 34-inch X Line LCD display (349X7FJEW) combines functionality with innovation, enhancing the wraparound experience with an ultra-narrow border for edge-to-edge viewing. CrystalClear, UltraWide Quad HD resolution, with 3440 x 1440 pixels, provides excellent visuals in panoramic format. The monitor is especially suitable for creative tasks.
The display is equipped with LowBlue Mode and is height adjustable for health-friendly usage.
Envision Peripherals (subsidiary of TPV) markets Philips commercial displays and monitors in North America through a brand license agreement with Philips.
The Philips 349X7FJEW will be available at the end of April.
