Three new low-priced HP monitors will be hitting the streets on May 16th. The models are the 20-inch S2031, 21.5-inch S2231 and 23-inch S2331. Each has a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, VGA and HDCP-compliant DVI-D connections, and 5ms pixel response time. All 3 use two-lamp panels rather than the standard four for lower power consumption.
The S2031 has a 1600×900 panel and a brightness of 250 nits, while the other two have full 1080p resolutions and 300 nits of brightness. The S2031 will cost $150, the S2231 $190 and the S2331 $220.
