Google said it is updating YouTube VR with the ability for multiple people to watch and share experiences at the same time.
The new tools will make it possible for those with their own headsets to do what Google calls co-watching. People will be able to enjoy the content and discuss it in real time, even when viewing from separate locations.
Google is working with its content producers to create more VR content for YouTube, all of which will be accessible in the new Daydream 2.0 platform.
