The latest version of Google Photos makes it possible to archive photos as hidden. The new feature was added to Google Photos 2.15 for Android devices The new feature has not rolled out to the web version or iOS app yet .
The archiving tool now appears within the navigation drawer on the left. A tutorial will walk people through the feature upon first use, after which archived photos can be accessed via the nav drawer.
Archiving allows people to store their photos out of their main feed while still having an online version accessible.
Google Photos is free to download from the Google Play Store.
