Akiva Goldsman’s Weed Road Pictures has left Warner Bros. Pictures and signed a two-year first-look deal at Paramount Pictures, per Deadline.
As part of the new deal, Goldsman will produce the over due film adaptation of the Tom Clancy bestseller Rainbow Six which Josh Appelbaum and Corin Nemec are adapting. He will also develop a film adaptation of the Ologies series of fantasy books.
Goldsman shares producing and screenwriting credit for up coming The Dark Tower. He has penned the script for Rings earlier this year, produced King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, and is an executive producer on the pilot for both Star Trek: Discovery and the “Bumblebee” movie.
