CBS Corporation’s Showtime has already expended to France, UK, Germany, Italy, Spain and parts of Asia. Now they are going to partner with India’s Hotstar to bring Billions to the nation’s millions.
Hotstar, which is owned by Star India (21st Century Fox), is the nation’s largest premium streaming service. The new SVOD content licensing and trademark agreement brings Showtime to the nation for the fist time.
Hotstar has content in Available in Hindi, English, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi and Bengali.
Hotstar also has content partnerships with Disney, Fox and HBO.
