41-year-old Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington, long time friend of Sound Gardens’ Chris Cornell, has reportedly been found dead in an apparent suicide from hanging on Thursday morning per a report by TMZ.
Police responded to a call of a dead body in a Palos Verdes Estates at 9am. The case is under investigation by the L.A. County Coroner Office.
Bennington has struggled with alcohol and drug problems throughout his life and is survived by his wife and six children.
