Universal Pictures has set a Friday, June 28th 2019 release date for the Chris Pratt-led film adaptation of A.J. Lieberman’s graphic novel Cowboy Ninja Viking.
Pratt plays a man who suffers from multiple personality disorder is put into a government program to be turned into a super-soldier with the attributes of a cowboy, a ninja and a viking.
No director has yet been set, though several have been linked in past years including Marc Forster and “John Wick” duo David Leitch and Chad Stahelski.
Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese penned the script while Pratt, Mark Gordon, Michael De Luca and Guymon Casady will produce.
