Instagram today said people can now share portrait or landscape photos when assembling posts with multiple shots. Before today, all the photos shared in a single post were restricted to the square format.
Moving forward, people can put together packages of either portrait or landscape shots in their larger posts, though only one aspect ratio is supported within each group. Instagram says it has made some other changes to its mobile app over the last few weeks.
For example, users can now edit tagged people after they’ve posted the photos. Moreover, iOS users can save posts as drafts.
Instagram says these features are rolling out in version 12 of its mobile app for Android and iOS devices.
