Tyler Perry has been cast as Colin Powell in Adam McKay’s upcoming untitled Dick Cheney biopic at Annapurna.
Powell is the four-star general who was involved in the case for the 2003 Iraq invasion. He also served as the Secretary of State under George W. Bush.
Christian Bale stars as former Vice President Dick Cheney, the former Haliburton chairman and one of the most powerful and influential U.S. Vice Presidents in history.
The film also stars Amy Adams as his wife Lynne Cheney, Sam Rockwell as George W. Bush, Steve Carell as Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, and Bill Pullman in an unspecified role.
McKay, Will Ferrell, Kevin Messick, Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner will produce.
