The British Board of Film Classification has given Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi a 12A rating in the UK for ‘moderate violence’, and at the same time have confirmed a 152 minute official runtime.

That confirms a report the other week that the film will officially be the longest Star Wars film to date. As for the 12A rating, it is the UK equivalent of a PG-13. Additionally, Empire Magazine has released four cover variants featuring Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren and Daisy Ridley’s Rey for an upcoming issue.

Speaking with GMA this week, Ridley says she saw the film last week and:

“I was more surprised with this one, because there’s like — there’s a few story lines that [are] sort of coming together and connecting. Rey is trying to find out about herself and about the universe and those questions don’t entirely fall to the good nor do they fall entirely to the bad. She’s trying to do her own personal growth.”

Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens in cinemas on December 15th.
