Earlier this week, it was revealed that Gang Beasts will finally be making its way to the PlayStation 4 this year after a long wait of anticipation. In the PlayStation Blog announcing the game, James Spafford – the Community manager of Double Fine Productions – took to the comment section and confirmed that Gang Beasts will be receiving PlayStation VR support sometime after launch as part of a free update.
Responding to a comment that lamented no announcement regarding VR support, Spafford replied “PSVR support will come some time after launch as a free update :),” which should hopefully alleviate any concerns players had. Spafford also confirmed that the game will cost $19.99 when it launches in about two weeks, so you have some time to save up.
When the game launches next month, it will include several new modes for players to jump into, including the 2 vs. 2 soccer matches, and a cooperative mode where 4 players must fight it out against a wave of enemies. For more on the PlayStation 4 version of Gang Beasts, check out below:

For those headed to the PlayStation Experience, Gang Beasts will be able at the Double Fine Booth and the company will be hosting various brawls and tournaments over the weekend. Gang Beasts is set to launch on December 12 for the PlayStation 4.
