Eddie the Eagle director Dexter Fletcher has replaced Bryan Singer on the Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, according to Deadline.
The film will resume production next week with Fletcher. This comes after Bryan Singer was fired from the production after he didn’t show up on the set after the Thanksgiving break. Production was first suspended, then Singer was fired on December 4.
Dexter Fletcher has directed Eddie the Eagle, starring Taron Egerton and Hugh Jackman, Sunshine on Leith, and Wild Bill.
Bohemian Rhapsody is set to arrive in theaters on Christmas Day in 2018.
