What should be the the biggest film in the first part of 2018 is Marvel’s Black Panther – the first of three superhero films from Marvel all in the first seven months of 2018.
Anticipation is high for the Ryan Coogler-directed film boasting not just a black superhero but a predominantly black cast, and now a listing on the official site of Australia’s biggest exhibitor Event Cinemas has indicated that the film will clock in with a 135 minute runtime.
That puts it on part with all three of Marvel’s 2017 releases which clocked in around 130-136 minutes each, however this figure has not yet been confirmed by the studio. Additionally the film’s final trailer has been confirmed to arrive on Monday next week during the College Football Playoff National Championship on ESPN.
The trailer follows on from a new TV spot that played over the New Year holiday during college football playoff games and teased the new trailer launch on January 8th.
Black Panther opens in cinemas on February 16th.
