XFX has releases a new PSU market for a long time. Today we learned that there is new XFX line, called XTi, some far we only know about one PSU in the new line – an 1kW capacity unit.
The XTi 1000 is fully modular, has a single +12V rail, and uses a 135mm fluid dynamic bearing fan which promises silent operation. There is a semi-passive mode, which can be deactivated, and according to XFX all capacitors used in this PSU are by Japanese manufacturers.
It sports a five-year warranty which lags behind the like of Seasonic , who provides to its Prime models. With crpo miners uses the high power marks of power PSU, this many factored into the warranty length, since those machiens are running at max 24/7.
The XTi 1000 can support up to four high-end graphics cards, due its eight PCIe connectors, and it also has a couple of EPS connectors, so it won’t have compatibility problems with mainboards that need more power for the CPU area.
At the time of this posting XFX hasn’t shared any availability dates or price information rfor this new line of PSUs.
