While Call of Duty: WWII‘s first DLC expansion, The Resistance, has been available on PS4 since the end of January. Soon Xbox One and PC players will soon no longer be left out. Activision has announced the DLC map pack will arrive for the latter two platforms next week.
The expansion introduces three new multiplayer maps to the WWII shooter: Valkyrie, Anthropoid, and Occupation, all of which Sledgehammer says revolve around the theme of resistance. The DLC pack also adds a new War mode map called Operation Intercept, which has players attempting to rescue French resistance fighters and escaping the war zone safely.
On top of to new maps, The Resistance expansion comes with a new chapter in the Nazi Zombies mode called The Darkest Shore. This chapter is set on a “secluded” island and introduces new weapons, smarter types of zombies to battle, and a fog environmental effect that makes it much more difficult to spot approaching enemies.
