Paramount Pictures has set an August 2nd 2019 release date for the upcoming live-action film adaptation of the popular kids TV series Dora The Explorer.
Set several years after the Nick Jr. television series, the story follows Dora who isn’t a seven-year-old American Latina anymore, rather she’s now a teenager who moves to the city to live with her cousin Diego.
Neighbors screenwriter Nick Stoller is penning the script for the film based on the Nick Jr. television series. Michael Bay is producing through his Platinum Dunes label alongside Andrew Form and Brad Fuller.
