Sony Pictures Classics has released first trailer has been released for Michael Mayer’s The Seagull, a film adaptation of the classic play by Anton Chekov. Saoirse Ronan, Annette Bening, Elisabeth Moss, Corey Stoll, and Brian Dennehy star.
The story follows ageing actress who visits her brother and her son on a country estate. She brings along a successful novelist and drama ensues. Mayer and acclaimed playwright Stephen Karam adapted the script for the project which opens in limited release on May 11th.
